Longevity

"TRESPA METEON OFFERS THE RIGHT CHARACTERISTICS"

Architect Degang Wang, W2 Architects

Project POD-Jiangsu Software Park, Nanjing, China

The POD-Jiangsu Software Park in Nanjing is a building community, covering approximately 100,000 m2 (≈ 1,076,391 ft2), and designed to serve companies of various scales. The planning process quotes the POD concept so that each building unit can be independent or combined according to requirements.

According to its architect, Degang Wang of W2 Architects, the design was intended to reflect a modern image, yet provide sufficient individuality for the buildings. A number of materials were used for the facades, including plaster and steel – and Trespa Meteon provided both color and contrast.

Sustainability is very important in China, as is longevity, so a key consideration was the fact that Trespa Meteon will retain its good looks for many years.

Degang Wang: “This industrial center is designed to serve high-tech companies of various sizes. Used in combination with other materials, Trespa Meteon helps us to create a modern look that will last, with the additional benefits of easy construction and high stability.”
